Firstly, take a photo of your face from the front and side before using the Jaw Toner. This is to track and compare your progress over the weeks and see how far you've come. Submit a review with your results, we'd love to see them!
Your Jaw Toner Molar will come with 2 seperate jaw exercising devices. One to accommodate for the left side and one for the right.
Place the Jaw Toner Molars into your mouth, ensuring they are aligned with your furthest back teeth, the molars. Position the device so that the arrows face towards the outside of your mouth. Bite down on the flat side of the device, avoiding biting the side with arrows.
Once the Molars are positioned at the back of your teeth, bite down on the device and find your most comfortable bite position. Try to keep your tongue on the roof of your mouth, this should help the Molars stay in place and ensure good form.
Refer to this guide to learn how to use the Jaw Toner with perfect form to avoid any complications. If you use the device properly, jaw problems such as TMJ should not form.
Pop the Jaw Toner in your mouth to start training and wear the chain around your neck for easy access
For optimal results with the Jaw Toner, engage in workouts ranging from 5 to 20 minutes daily. Train to significant fatigue (your comfort level) or near failure (where you can barely do another bite) before taking a 1-2min break. This counts as 1 set.
Aim for 3 to 10 sets, depending on your resistance and training level. To promote muscle recovery and strengthening while avoiding injury, it's crucial to take a day off every 2-3 days.
Jaw strength varies individually, so only use the Jaw Toner to your comfort level and do not overuse the device. If you feel any pain or joint discomfort, refrain from use immediately and take a rest for at least 1-2 days.
If your exercise routine starts to feel less challenging, increase the intensity by slowing down your repetitions and focusing on deeply engaging your facial muscles. Instead of aiming for a high number of reps, prioritize quality over quantity.
Bite down slowly and perform each rep with perfect form, concentrating on the activation of your jaw muscles. This method ensures that you get the most out of each repetition, enhancing the effectiveness of your workout.
Once the resistance becomes too easy, and you can perform over 50 reps with minimal fatigue, you are ready to move up to the next level.
Don't rush your progression and slowly progress up the Jaw Toners to the highest resistance for the best facial muscle growth and to avoid problems.
The Jaw Toner comes with two silicone strips for the upper and lower teeth, ensuring a comfortable fit. Included are two free extra replacement strips.
If strips loosen, re-read the instructions above carefully and ensure correct usage. You may be positioning the Jaw Toner incorrectly in your mouth, causing the teeth to slip in between the silicon strips and Jaw Toner causing them to pop out of place. Make sure you're biting down
If problems persist, boil the device for 30-60 seconds and bite down firmly to re-secure the strips.
Make sure that the round side with the logo is pointing outwards. If you continue to gag, try to position the Jaw Toner further out of your mouth and have your tongue push on the back of the Jaw Toner.
Although jaw pain is uncommon, if you experience jaw pain from the Jaw Toner, you may have overused the device, used it incorrectly, or had pre-existing jaw problems. If you feel pain when using the Jaw Toner, refrain from use for 2-3 days. Try use the lowest resistance you have and take training easy. If jaw problems persist, refrain from use of the Jaw Toner.
Practice Proper Tongue Posture
Relax your tongue and make sure it is sitting comfortably in your mouth. With your lips closed, place the tip of your tongue behind your front teeth and against the roof of your mouth. Gently press your tongue upwards and backwards towards the soft palate (the soft tissue at the back of the roof of your mouth). Keep your tongue in this position throughout the day, including when you swallow.
Do Not Breathe Through Your Mouth
Mouth breathing can lead to a variety of negative health outcomes. When you breathe through your mouth, you bypass the natural filtration and humidification system of your nose, which can make you more prone to allergies, infections, and dry mouth. Mouth breathing can also contribute to a lack of oxygen and poor sleep quality, which can negatively impact your overall health and well-being.
